About the event

Zenweave is coming to the shop!  I met Lisa a few weeks ago as she was passing through town and after a quick conversation, knew we were on the same page about what it means to be a creative being in the modern world.

Zen: A state of calm attentiveness in which one’s actions are guided by intuition rather than conscious effort.

Weave: To form by combining various elements or details into a connected whole.

We all have life events, present and/or past, that can leave us with stress, pain, worry or heartache.  This creative and mindful workshop introduces weaving as a means to access mindfulness, stress reduction, connection with self and overall well-being.

No experience is necessary and each participant will leave with beautiful handmade wall hanging, table runner or scarf.  Come connect and create!

FEE: $25 plus $15 materials fees to be paid directly to the instructor via cash, venmo or check.  Prepared looms and all supplies will be provided. Fibers will be (mostly) locally sourced and hand dyed and spun, natural fibers such as sheep wool, alpaca, silk.  Participants are invited to bring in a personal item to be woven into their piece - materials should be very flexible and/or thin to be incorporated.

REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY 10/25 TO ALLOW FOR SUFFICIENT TIME FOR MATERIAL PREPARATION.
