Join us for our new after-school kids series that celebrates the wild and mysterious beauty of the world around us.  

Using local plants, stone, bone, pigments and fibers,  students will learn to craft nature-based art and all about the harvesting, preparation, and storage that goes into utilizing natural materials.  Participants will be making tools and crafts with the materials all around us, as well as embarking on guided nature walks (weather permitting), where we'll turn up our awareness and tune into the easy-to-miss details that can teach us all about what's happening within our wild and not-so-wild landscapes throughout the fall season.

September 18th to November 6th (8 sessions)

Mondays 3:30 to 5PM

$200 / participant

Sessions are held outside when possible.  Participants are asked to dress warmly in layers and wear appropriate footwear for walking on local trails.

Zach Fisher is a Hudson Valley based artist, adventure guide, and outdoor educator.  He is an alumni of the Tom Brown Jr Tracker School and the founder and lead instructor of Vulpes Wild Arts, an organization that focuses on the cross section of art, primitive technology and nature-based spirituality.
